Crafted by White House carpenters from wood recovered from the Truman Renovation, the menorah was added to the White House Collection in 2022. The 2024 holiday season marked the third time the menorah was displayed in Cross Hall.

The first Christmas trees encountered on holiday tours were the Gold Star Family Trees. Named after the Gold Star Designation, these trees commemorated service members killed in action. In 2024, a tree made of six stacked golden stars was displayed in the center of the East Landing, with each star representing the six branches of the military and, on the surrounding Christmas trees, the names of fallen service members were engraved in golden star ornaments.
