Guests during the 1981 Christmas season could expect to see the White House adorned with decorations including a Victorian dollhouse made by decorator Aline Gray, the annual White House gingerbread house made by Assistant Executive Chef Hans Raffart, and an 18th century crèche, or nativity scene, displayed every year.
